After a very busy year I have a bit of time to catch up on posting what I have been doing. Will be posting once a week for the next bit till I get caught up.
Rose Gate was started in Sept. /13, and installed in January /15. This was an insurance job in White Rock, B.C., replacing a cracked carved glass panel ( was done by a fellow I worked with briefly in the early 80’s) for the new homeowner. Originally one large window, I had the homeowner replace the window with a 3 panel window, as the original was too large and heavy for one piece.
The client sent me pictures of his backyard, complete with pond, stone wall and gate into the yard that was surrounded by roses, with the request that the gate was the central theme for the window. The colors in the water represent the fish of course!
